One of Atlanta’s signature restaurants, Sway combines the flavors of Southern kitchens, family cook outs and Sunday dinners with the freshest ingredients from local farms, dairies and other purveyors.
Sway is locally famous for its fried chicken (it takes a full 24 hours to prepare), homemade pimento cheese, Southern raised strip steaks, fresh Appalachian fish and hot fresh biscuits served with tomato jam, as well as a seasonally changing menu of surprising Southern delicacies.
For dessert, Sway offers Atlanta’s only nightly Pie Bar, an array of homemade seasonal pies made from traditional recipes.
Sway is the creation of Executive Chef Martin Pfefferkorn, who developed a love of fresh, local ingredients growing up on a farm in Austria. At Sway, he has assembled unforgettable ingredients from the South’s finest purveyors, from Sweet Grass Dairy in Thomasville, Ga., to Benton’s Smoky Mountain Country Ham in Madisonville, Tenn.
